How do I save and organize places?
Use Places to save destinations you visit often. Saved and Recent are separate lists, while the search field checks names and addresses across both.

Add and customize a saved place
- Open Places, which starts on Saved.
- Tap the plus control labeled Add Place and select the destination.
- In Save Place, check the address and map, and edit Place name if a familiar name is more useful.
- Tap Change icon, or Icon at accessibility text sizes. Choose Automatic or an available category icon.
- Tap Save, or Cancel to discard the edit.
Tap a saved row to edit it later. Icons are app symbols; they do not represent a complete collection of business brand artwork. Current Location placeholders are not saved as reusable places.
Use recent destinations
Switch to Recent for confirmed destinations that are not already saved. Tap a recent row to open Save Place, or touch and hold it and choose Save Place.
A destination enters Recent when a route or plan is committed, not when you only search or preview it. Saving a recent place removes its recent duplicate. History keeps the 100 most recently used distinct unsaved locations.
Search across both lists
- Use Search saved and recent places.
- Enter part of the place name or address.
- Choose the intended result from Saved Places or Recent Places, regardless of which segment was selected.
Remove a place from a list
Swipe a saved or recent row to delete it from that list. Existing route stops using the place remain intact. Removing an entry from Recent is not undone simply by relaunching the app, but confirming the destination in a new route can add it to Recent again.
If a retained place cannot load its details, use the saved-location warning and retry or correct the address. Do not delete your whole library to repair one location.
