How do I reload or correct saved locations?
A saved bookmark can remain in your library even when its current Apple place details cannot load. Retry the location, or use Correct Address to replace an unresolved reference deliberately.

Reload a retained bookmark
- If a place shows Connect to load this location, connect to the internet.
- Use Retry Loading Locations when offered in the warning or saved-location review.
- Allow the details to load before trying to navigate to that place.
Saved bookmarks are not offline maps or stored Apple detail responses. An unresolved placeholder is not a valid navigation target. Other readable records remain usable.
Correct the saved reference
- Open Correct Address in the warning, or go to Places and choose Review Saved Locations from the toolbar.
- Choose the location needing correction and tap Correct Address.
- Search for the complete correct address and select the intended place.
- Review the address and map in Confirm Correction.
- Tap Save Correction.
A correction updates matching saved references, including those in routes, while preserving stop order, notes, and recorded progress. If Complete Address appears during selection, enter the full street address, town or city, and state or postcode, tap Check Address, and confirm the matched location.
Remove only an unwanted reference
In Saved Locations, use Remove Stop from the named route only when you want to remove that visit. The confirmation explains that requirements depending on that stop are also removed; other stops and their progress remain.
Remove from Saved Places and Remove from Recent Places remove the list entry while leaving route stops intact. Review the confirmation before choosing Remove.
If routes or saved records cannot open
For Your routes couldn’t open, tap Try Again. If it persists, report the exact error and the action that led to it. Do not delete the app as a first repair because that risks local route data.
If a warning says saved items could not be read, their original data remains on the iPhone and other records can still work. Contact support; do not assume the unreadable records are deleted or that a cloud restore or repair-import tool is available.
